Please be HONEST.
I know my best friend been hit growing up, she is the most righteous and awsome, kind almost perfect girl in the world.
Her parents hit her until she was about 14 i believe. My parents also hit me, both our parents hit from discipline not because they are angry.
I'm very thankful i was hit... i was a really mouthy bad attitude child (cuz of kids i grew up with) i love my parents soo soo much and respect them
so much and cant believe how i behave when i was younger. I know hitting wont set everyone straight. I prefer being hit then yelled at (my mom use to yell at me like crazy and i remember hating her soo much) i rather them listen to me then hit me (hands out with palms showing) *kinda like how they did it in the asian schools back in the ancient times*
Maybe there is a fine line between discipline and hitting because you are angry and disappointment (THIS IS ABUSE!)
I will hit my kids, I will tell them "im going to discipline you from age 7-15" when you are 16... i will stop because i feel you are old enough and smart enough to know if you did something wrong or right

(Did any of you ever think if you were never hit you would be potty mouth, rude, spoiled brats?) I know so many white ppl who are like this.
Sometimes FEAR drives u to be good... i remember I feared a teacher who uses embarassing things to call out on students who didnt do well
and i always got straight "A's" in that class. And trust me.. im a "C" average student.
